The spots are grass and there’s only water and electric. Our shore power kept going out, so we had to move our power to the next power post, and then everything worked fine. It’s a cute little place, had a store which had pleasant staff and any basic needs you may have forgotten for your stay. A restaurant close by which we didn’t know about, but would like to go to next time! Our spot was RIGHT next to the Big Spruce tree which was kinda nice cuz you could just take a photo op moment and jump on the trail from there. But because it’s a tourist attraction there’s a constant flow of people and kids. Overall, though we plan to come back!

We are tent campers who have gone RV, so this is not our perfect campground, but it is nice for what it is. Centrally located in the beautiful Quinault recreation area. Great amenities. Quiet. What else could we ask for?

It was ok. If you are looking for an off the grid adventure, this place is good. The sites were really close together which I wasn't fond of. The lake was nice but I wouldn't swim in it. • As of now they are requiring reservations, never did before.

Great lake for kayaking and other water sports. Unfortunately the lake is owned by the local Indian tribe and they have closed it to everything except swimming. For the last few years they required a permit fee to boat, nothing now.

  • Nice views! Beautiful easy to access trails!

First off, we were a little spoiled here because we were the only ones camping! There were a few people at the cabins on site and we had a neighbor for a night but otherwise we had it all to ourselves! There were a few people at the cabins on site and we had a neighbor for a night but otherwise we had it all to ourselves! We were on site #1 which is right on the lake with a path to a pretty large beach. Very pet friendly (our dogs were able to free roam) and the employees were very nice! It is a more laid back rustic campsite, no sewer but electric and water. There are bathrooms and coin operated showers on site. My only complaint is that because the worlds largest spruce tree is on the campground there were a lot of random people walking around that weren’t staying at the site. A couple mornings we woke up and the toilets were clogged by some of these random passer-throughs. We let the manager know, maybe some more ‘private do not enter signs’ would help? Otherwise it was wonderful, we would definitely go back.

So you have to lug your chairs over there, I was wishing it was closer. We did drive around and do some hikes through the rain forest and found some waterfalls so our exploring time was awesome! The campsite was just okay. We did pick up some mice here so that was not fun at all and had to buy mouse traps at the store up the road. The restaurant at the resort was overpriced but had pretty good food, we ate dinner one night there. The staff was overworked you could tell and weren't the nicest people. But the store had some cute stuff in it. Pretty area but we've seen it and won't be coming back for it.
