They also rent e- bikes and have a garden that they allow everyone to pick from. Just overall a great, central location, with very friendly people and a fun energy.

Many of the sites marked for tents will actually hold rigs and it feels like you find little turns and campers scattered around this large campground. Run by a family, it has a very friendly atmosphere with a community garden that you can take produce from and a Wednesday pizza night. They supply all the fixings, you make a pizza and they fire it in the outdoor pizza oven. The sites are level and easily accommodate the rigs. The camp is very clean and surrounded by trees as well as a few great trails to stretch your legs. It is a easy drive into Port Angeles or into Olympic National Park. When we decided to stay an additional night, they were full but allowed us to boondock in their back area. Check in was easy and the host went over all the nearby sites, trails and drive times. Super nice and responded quickly to questions during our stay.

These lots have more elbow room than the "fishbowl" we stayed in.We stayed in January, and we know this is a hoppin' place in the summer, so we didn't concern ourselves with the dinginess and soggy grounds. Our biggest suggestion would be NOT to choose lot #9. I had about 3 feet to my neighbor's trailer, and the camp host's home/office was overlooking my rig on the other side. We blame ourselves for the location. We'd go back for sites 20-22.Close to several nice areas and attractions including Port Angeles waterfront, Lake Crescent and about a dozen waterfalls, including a 100-ft waterfall and a rain forest. Everything we go camping for. Forks is an hour away if you are a Twilight fan.Overall, the park was a nice park, with friendly staff and would be a fun stay in summer. Just don't stay in spot #9.

Camping here is OK. The front desk clerk was very nice and helpful. Most of the sites are very tight. It was quiet and safe and a good place to do laundry and have hookups, but not a great value at nearly $50.

If the water usage is costing too much compared to rates or your systems are not adequate, raise the rates and upgrade the systems.

We conversed through email and they sent me a photo of a spot they wondered if I could fit. I looked at the photo (attached), they said it was where the cabover camper was. I said sure! I thought it was the entire length of the gravel area (A&B) but it turns out it was JUST A! A, B & C are all three separate sites. When we got there, a 5th wheel was in B, encroaching a bit (according to the manager) into our spot. Luckily the motorhome it C allowed me to pull into C but take the truck out through their site. We also had our trailer up on quite an incline, the tail-end was just hanging out there. The other manager said they need to rethink some of their sites, I would think so! The park itself is very quaint and quirky. Good bathrooms. Decent WiFi until everyone else was on it. AT&T sucked. Our spot had many trees so I was only able to get one of three satellites on my receiver but I learned, sometimes that is enough. I would stay there again but in a different spot.

On site mini-store with movies checkouts was a plus. The friendly competent staff made a special effort to assist our needs and helped out any way they could. Loved the location with its proximity to Port Angeles and Olympic NP but was located off the highway for a quieter feel. I would definitely seek out this camp if in the area again.

It was a perfect location to visit Hurricane Ridge and the north side of Olympic National Park. Groceries and the ferry were very convenient in nearby Port Angeles. The owners were very helpful with information on what to do in the area. Site 38 was separated from the others and next to a pond. Much nicer that the pull throughs in my opinion. We went to sleep at night with the sound of the frogs! Very peaceful. Good wifi. The bathhouse was exceptionally clean. The only ding I would give is that the showers were pay, but with full hookup that was not a problem for us. We would definitely return if we are in the area.

It is also a 5 minute drive from a public beach access with amazing sunset views. The owners were very friendly and accommodating we called last minute trying to book spots for us and our friends rigs. We ended up in a tent site that had a power line run to it and our friends with a larger rig ended up in an overflow spot that had partial hook ups. The tent side was nicer in that it gave us a little more space and privacy from our neighbors while their overflow spot had more of a parking lot feel. The park seems like it wasn’t planned and things were just kind of thrown where they fit that gives it a lot of character. Some spots even have little ponds with fountains. The restrooms and showers were clean and nice although the shower was coin activated in an effort to conserve water.

We prefer sites with trees and privacy. At first we were in a full hookup pull-through with neighbors, but they let us move to a larger, private tent site with trees. The tent site had water and electric and they have a pump out service so we were happier in that site. We travel fulltime and it can be hard to get caught up on mail and deliveries on the road; I was very thankful that they allowed me to have packages delivered there. It can also be hard to find places to get my hair done on the road. I went to Envy Hair Techniques in Port Angeles and Holly did a fantastic job on my hair. This RV park is a perfect location for visiting the area. We visited Olympic National Park and took the ferry to Victoria, BC. Olympic is huge so it's a bit of a drive to some of the sections but close to Hurricane Ridge. There is so much to do in this section of WA that we didn't get to do everything we wanted to so we hope to come back again someday. Verizon and AT&T both worked well there.

The park's location is pretty much perfect too, with a great many sights to visit in all directions. We would certainly use this campground again as a base for the Olympic Peninsula.

We stayed in the nice, long, premium pull through sites in the back which are very nice, level, and have good spacing and grass lawns, fire pit, picnic table, and FHU 50 amp. All sites are gravel. The rest of the campground is older and sites are haphazard, close, tough to get into, and not as level. I would definitely use Google Earth to look at sites if booking any site other than the premium sites. A few are right on the park roads and have no outside area. Our site was in the very back and extremely quiet. These sites also have no shade so they are perfect for roof top satellite dishes. The roads within the park are narrow, but we didn't have an difficulties coming in or leaving. We had a guide take us to our site. The park owners are very friendly. This is a perfect location to visit Port Angeles and Olympic NP. Park WiFi didn't work well and we had to use our booster with our phone hot spot.

The owners are friendly and helpful. Their daughter does dog sitting and she took care of ours two days and they seemed quite content each day we returned. This park is close to drive into Port Angeles or to see the park. With our truck we are 55', so had one of the newer sites in the back. We fit fine and there were motor homes on each side of us during part of our stay which were much longer and they did not have any issues. Laundry room and bathrooms were immaculate! Laundry was 2.50 per machine but appeared new and the dryers only took one cycle, even for towels. Nice areas for walking dogs. We would stay again if in the area.

The owners were super helpful giving us local attractions and offering suggestions of when/where to go at what times. We had booked an overflow site, but a full hook-up site had become available. We took the hook-ups. We were informed at check-in that Wifi was down, and hopefully it would be repaired by end of day(Friday). It was not repaired for the weekend, so if this is a deal breaker for you, inquire before booking. We had slow cell phone data(I am on Google Fi, and the wife has Verizon). The park is great looking with playgrounds for children, a volleyball court, and a short distance to some hiking trails nearby. We were in the area to visit family, and see the local sites Had a great time, and would stay again if in the area. We stayed in the older part of the park, were the long term normally stay. Our site was very narrow with a storage shed on the site. The picnic table and fire pit were behind our trailer, and with our kitchen slide out we were unable to get to the back without walking around the front of the trailer. We did not mind, as we were out of camp, except at night, and did not use these amenities. Hope this helps. As stated before, we would happily stay here again.

The campground has two sections, the old section (close to the office) is wooded with mostly back-in sites, and has a number of full-time residents (relatively tidy/clean) in the spaces around the perimeter. The new section is all pull-throughs for big rigs along a hill with no trees. We were in the last site of the new section. This site's camping-side grass area was much smaller than the other pull-throughs (i.e. fairly close to our neighbor), but being the last site meant our curb-side had a nice unobstructed view of the field where the owners' horses grazed every day. Some of the campground's sites were a little close together, but none were right on top of each other, so we were satisfied with the spacing, even for our smallish site. The pond, field, playground and other features gave the park a nice rustic feel. The loop trail and dam trail were great for walking our active dog. The WiFi was unusably slow most of the time, but our Verizon jetpack had excellent signal. Our AT&T phones worked but had a weak signal and slow data speeds. During the day there was some noise from trucks on the nearby highway but at night it was silent. Fire rings are available from the office. We'd definitely stay here again if in the area.
