Although all of the sites around us were occupied, it was very quiet because the sites are separated by trees and shrubs. Also, many of the gravel walkways are lined with flowers and shrubs. Our site had a sturdy picnic table and a fire ring. The electrical and cable TV boxes looked fairly new. The free camp wi-if signal was strong. The shower house was exceptionally clean and well lighted. All fixtures were in working order, and there were fresh cut flowers in both the men and women’s bathrooms. The camp employees were all very friendly and helpful. The adjacent Dutch Mill restaurant had great breakfasts!

That in itself makes this a unique campground, since nothing else is available then except boondocking in the Green Mountains. It has mostly permanently occupied sites and the amenities are limited. The location is great to access the Burlington area and if you are coming from the south it avoids any city traffic concerns. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the residents seemed nice. Some traffic noise in the morning. The wi-fi was hit or miss and we used cell signal instead. The site was a tight fit but we got in okay. Since we were there during Vermont mud season it is hard to comment on the site quality and cleanliness. We will come back again just for the convenience and location.

We liked the location for the nearby Shelburne Farms and sightseeing in Burlington. But the campground is dated and a mixture of run-down long-term trailers and a few overnight stays like us. Worked for a short-term stay. Not really much to do at the campground. We paid $42 a night for 3 nights. Only partial hookups. 55psi water. 30 amp power. No sewer. We used the dump station on the way out.Service was friendly. They let us check-in a little early and even let us stay a little later on check-out day since nobody was checking into our site. The site was a little muddy after recent storms. The power and water were located at the back of the site and took every last inch of stretching our power cable and hose to get hooked up.

Mix of long term and vacation sites. Some RV storage also. Site with stone so great with rain in the area. Site right across from laundry and bathrooms which were all very clean. Close to Burlington and Shelburne farm and museum. Many fast food shops available.
Great place with access to all of the local attractions!

It's about a 15 minute drive to downtown/waterfront Burlington. It's also very close to main street Shelburne and the Shelburne Farms and Shelburne Orchards. There was laundry on site. It was $2 per wash and $0.25 per 10 minutes of drying. The machines were in good condition. Laundry was in high demand due to limited number of machines. The restrooms were very well kept. And the showers were FREE! We worked full time from the comforts of our camper van and we had fairly good reception with Verizon. No issues with streaming and/or remoting into work computers. We happened to be there while a very large group with Adventure Caravans was there, so it felt a bit packed, but it stayed quiet. We didn't have any issues with noise. All in all this was a good campground to stay at and we'd book again with them if we were in the area.
The BEST location!

Site 2 is a flat, gravel back in, 30 amp, full hookup. We were near the pool (didn't feel warm, so we didn't partake) and office. With no privacy or nature around us, we were surrounded by permanent residents and the one spot that most people stayed at only over night. We didn't mind much, as we really used this location as a base to do all the touristy things in the area and spend time in Burlington. The grounds had gravel walking paths to the bathhouse that cut through the sites and had landscape lighting so there was barely a need for flashlights if heading there at night. The grounds were landscaped well, and they were changing flower beds over to mums for fall during our stay.Check out their weekly rate, that cut our cost down. I think the daily rate is in the $40s.The bathhouse was clean. The ladies side had a fresh flower arrangement everyday. We did a few loads of laundry: $2 to residential wash (2 washers) and .25 for every 10 min in an industrial dryer (2 dryers). It looked like one washer had been used to wash something majorly dirty, so we only used the other clean washer. That was a bummer, but we survived. The campground's website does a great job explaining how close they are to all the area attractions and we couldn't have been more pleased. We did all things super local in Shelburne and Burlington and also ventured out to do some hiking, sightseeing, and food tours.Working was a breeze. The campgrounds wifi worked really well and we were finally able to do some website work. We had no issues with our 9-5 jobs. Connecting and taking calls on Verizon and AT&T worked well, we didn't really need our WeBoost at all.Don't freak out like we did - if you're getting to the campground from the north slightly past the campground sign there is a turn off from the right lane with a stop light to easily turn around (the road is divided).Took stars off for noise because every single day they were mowing, weedeating, taking a tractor around to spread around gravel. It was always something! It became a joke after a few days - how much mowing can a small campground need?!? That includes mowing our own site, going around our RV and lines. We weren't thrilled. All in all, a great place to stay in the area. We would definitely stay again.
