This park is well maintained. They are adding another bathhouse and another laundry facility as well as 10 more rv spots. We have loved staying here. It’s quiet and family friendly. It is close to anything you might need, and they have propane on site.

We travel in a 25' camper van so there was plenty of room in our end of the row site. It is a simple park but being across from one of the "lakes" with the ducks and their babies was an extra perk. Hot water tank was out in bath house so no hot shower which was unfortunate. The park is clean with level sites and well kept. Tables are every site were usable. There are many log term residents but it does not distract from the park. Great location. Walking distance to HEB.

Sarah was so friendly, and helpful! The location is perfect! You’re close to absolutely everything, but still feel tucked away in the woods. Bring a fishing pole!! Good level sites, pull throughs a plenty!! Wifi isn’t great, but Sarah said they’re updating it very soon!!

  • Snobby. Won't let a brand new cargo trailer conversion camp there

Me, not a shopper!!!! My girls, oh my, they can shop!!! Anyway, the park was very nice and my only “complaint” would be the condition of the road. Not terrible but a few potholes if you will. You certainly can’t beat the location for an “city” RV park. Brand new HEB grocery store close by.

Typically we stay at Thousand Trails on Lake Conroe, but it was booked up during our time in town. As far as location goes, this campground can't be beat. Stones throw away from a brand new and the biggest HEB I've ever been to. Hospitals, theaters, shopping, and anything else you can think of all within a 10 minute drive. Surprisingly this is a very quiet campground considering it's location to I-45 and Bush/IAH. Sites are all gravel and reasonably level. We had #125 which is a pull through and it can accommodate 60-65 foot total length, so no need to unhook for most rigs. All utilities were in good shape and water pressure was really good. Staff was courteous and always greeted us with a wave and smile.Negatives that I have is that it seems to be majority long term residents. We didn't have any issues with any of them, but it always casts a bad light on RV parks in my opinion. We also got an inch or so of rain one day and our campsite got a bit soggy. Water stood outside our steps until the next day, but wasn't an issue. I imagine if there were 3-4 days of straight rain the whole site would have standing water.Overall a good experience and I will probably stay here again for short visits. Definitely met our needs of a place to land close to relatives and stores.

  • Awesome service, phenomenal manager, and good for the big rigs!

We're pulling a flatbed car hauler so we're long. We called looking for a backup in case we couldn't fit in my sister's driveway. We couldn't so we're sooo thankful we got in. Here's a quick summary:- The proper paved park on the northern end is clean and well kept. They have a clubhouse and a couple of small lakes. It's pretty! - On the southern end is a graveled, less finished area but with full hookups. This is where we parked and if you're coming in short-notice, expect to park out here. Nothing fancy at all. It had rained recently and the area behind our rig was swampy and wet but the gravel pad we parked on was higher and dry. No worries. - There is parking space available for your trailers if you're pulling on the southeastern extreme end of the park. The gravel road is bumpy and uneven but navigable. Just take it slow. - 90% of the residents here are full- or long-term campers. A mixture of snowbirds perhaps and working families. - WiFi is available and once you're on it, it comes apparently with a 1-year access. Not too shabby, we averaged 1mb at night with 4-5mb in the AM (a superbowl Sunday). Okay, here's why we think this place ROCKS! While we were discussing where to put our trailer, Sarah offered us one of two other available spots near our rig to park our trailer and car. They weren't going to be rented so we were able to park our call hauler and car two spots away. That was SO cool and we're so grateful.

There is a walking path behind the ponds that leads into an interesting swampy area characteristic of this region of Texas. All the main amenities worked great, though the Tengo internet or cable quality was, predictably, nothing to write home about. The staff was very friendly and helpful, providing a recommendation of an RV tech when we had a plumbing issue. During our plumbing issue, we used the club house's shower, laundry and restroom facilities, which are very clean and nice. There's also a small workout room with the basics. There is a short walking trail behind the ponds that leads into a swampy area, but it's nice to have a place to stretch legs. The only complaint I'd have, other than the high price, is that the sites can feel pretty close. There are nice trees, though, so that gives some privacy.
