We enjoyed our time here at this KOA. Showers, restrooms, and laundry all clean and perfectly suitable. The pool is only open between Memorial Day and Labor Day though, so if you’re there in early May it won’t be open. The staff here are ultra friendly and will bend over backwards to accommodate reasonable requests.

It’s a good place to stay outside of the DFW area for a quick stay. Lots of campers parked closely together. Had trouble with the WiFi. Nothing bad about the place. Could hear some traffic but it’s right off the interstate, which is what makes it convenient to get to. Staff was friendly and there was plenty of space to walk your pet.
Good overnight park.

Easy check in. Friendly hosts. Very large, green grassy pet walk area. WiFi is adequate.

The town of Weatherford which is probably now a suburb of Ft. Worth does have what seems like a commuter rush hour but has some small town charm. I can only imagine what Weatherford was like 20 years ago. The owners and hosts are very helpful. The sites are normal private park spaces, pretty close together. What I liked, they have a great grassy field for dogs to play and a fenced in small dog park. Also took Q-dog to Benbrook Reservoir for some swim time. However, I will caution that the area has a lot of glass so have to watch out for paws, but the water quality seemed good.
