This RV Park's hospitality is off the charts. Kurt and another guy helped us turn our 43' rig around when we came in the night before way late and parked the wrong way in our pull through. Super helpful! They pick up garbage every morning. There is a small fishing pond and a really nice common area. Laundry was $2 a load which seemed steep but we are new to full time RVing so i could be wrong. The pool was perfectly heated and the jacuzzi awesome. The town itself is my favorite place, Tortugas and The Pheonix are a must try. 87 was on the end and we loved it, especially since our side patio was able to come down perfectly in all the space and we had a huge grass area for the dog. There are many frogs early morning and at night and the beach is not far. We will be back soon and for longer.
Great place to spend the winter

We spent the winter of 2020/21 here - yes we got to experience the "Historic Winter Invasion" of February 2021. Seriously, this is a great place to enjoy the mild winter and the sunshine. Lots of good fishing in the area. The beach is on the other side of the highway from the RV park but it's easily accessible. This is a very nice place - the facilities are very good, the parking spots are all concrete and level and, depending on which spot you get, they are very roomy. Some of the interior spots are a little close but we noticed that they were typically one or two nights so probably people just passing through. The pools and the clubhouses are top notch. The wifi is very usable - sometimes it gets a little slow but for a park free wifi, it's good. The cable TV is basic Spectrum but still has a lot of channels. All in all, a very nice place - I gave it 4 on the noise since in the morning there are airplanes and construction and what not but that's always after 8:00 in the morning.Probably the best thing about this place are the people. The staff and ownership are tops - very helpful even when there's a power outage and it's breaking records for cold temperatures. We had furnace problems and one of the guys made sure we had a space heater for the night. Residents are a mix of Winter Texans, a few longer term residents, families on vacation, etc. The kids all seem to enjoy the place and the older folks have quite a bit of interaction. The town is a bit quirky but it's a beach town and has all that you need (and quite a bit you don't). Corpus is 25 minutes away and has everything.Long winded review - we stayed longer than our original reservation and the staff was very accommodating. We hope to come back someday.
