Del Rio has cold weather going through, (35 degrees) I figured it was a good night to plug in. Called in the afternoon, got a machine. Left my number as requested. No call back. Tried again a little after 5. I was told they weren’t taking any more RVs after 5 because it was going to be cold and they’re “all hunkered down”. It’s cold, not a blizzard. Disappointed, to say by the least. Maybe you’ll have better luck, or it will be warm out.

Would definitely stay here again when passing through.

Very welcoming hosts, great tree coverage, in town but still a very quiet area where you can go for walks. The WiFi isn't great, so we mainly used our hotspot. We’d definitely come back!

The RV park is a little out of the way in a residential area, whereas most others in the area are right off the highway. We prefer the privacy and quiet, so this worked very well for us, and the residential area offered plenty of places to walk our dogs. The RV park is very pretty, with lots of trees and grass. Campsites are pretty large, have concrete patios (formerly mobile home pads), picnic tables, and some sites have privacy fences. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and the neighbors we met were nice. Water pressure was very high, so we were glad we had a water regulator. Cable TV is available but the hookup was far back in the site and our cable wasn't long enough to reach. There is WiFi available but we couldn't receive it from our site near the front of the park. We'd definitely stay here again.

This park is great! The sites are super spacious because it used to be a mobile home park. We had the largest site we'd ever had at a private campground--it felt like being back at a house with a front yard, except someone else mowed it!The park is situated in a residential area just south of the historic section of Del Rio. It's only a mile from the oldest still-operational winery in Texas and a historic downtown. The only tricky thing about getting there is that, if you take the most direct route, tall RVs can run into trouble with low hanging traffic signals. Call the office ahead of time, and they'll direct you down a safer route. The laundry waiting area is super cozy, although it could use a few more machines. You pay with cash envelopes, so no quarters are needed. Only downside is the expense at $5 total for a wash and dry.The staff is hands-off but very friendly and accommodating. Although the park is small, there's plenty of strolling to be done in the nearby neighborhoods. We were glad we stayed here rather than one of the RV parks closer to Amistad Reservoir because we felt it gave us an opportunity to explore historic Del Rio, which we might not have even known about if we'd stayed farther north. We also got some good fishing in at the Reservoir, but the highlight of our trip was probably our ranger-led tour of the Fate Bell Shelter at Seminole Canyon State Park, where you can view 4,000-year-old pictographs.
