We were looking for somewhere to camp after leaving Padre Island. The hills of Texas are so inviting. This campground has a unique name- Cave Without a Name. We camped here with our son-in-law and daughter and our son. This campground was perfect. Super clean bathhouse. Practically brand new. Quiet and peaceful. We could hear an owl for part of the night which was relaxing to us. The price was right on this stay. We even decided to go on a cave tour which was spectacular. We walked from our campsite to where the tour began. We will definitely stay here again when we are in this area.

We arrived there with our Harvest Hosts membership, so had a free first night. But so much appreciated it that we decided to stay an extra paying night. So quiet, no lighting over night, just nature. But must know there's no sewer, no dump station and the water hookup is not drinkable. You must visit the cave, impressive. They do concert sometimes in the cave must be such an experience!
