Very large Campground catering to campers from the solo tenter to the behemoth RV. Lots of trees for shade and nice sized, grassy sites. I expect it is very busy during the Sturgis rally, but it was very peaceful and uncrowded during our stay. It is beside a highway and there was road noise during the day, but very quiet at night.

We pulled in and while we were searching the net for info the owner walked up to our coach. We made a deal that we would pay $30.00 cash. A discount because the washrooms were closed. There were very few units in the park which was good as the sites are very close together. We chose 21. It was a 30 Amp pull through. It was level, gravelled and plenty long and wide enough for our opposing slides. We were quite happy that we stumbled upon Wyatt's except the internet signal was terrible and the cell service was only one bar so our Mifi didn't work well either We would return if in the area though. We camped at Wyatt's Hideaway Campground in a Motorhome.
Expensive for what you get.

If you don’t want the water spigot provided at the site to freeze, you’re told that you need to heat trace and insulate it at your own expense. The campground is conveniently located between a highway and an active railway, and yes, the trains blow their horns as they ride through the camp ground. In my opinion, this is a $300/month site.

The sites were a bit closer than I prefer, but most had very mature trees with plenty of shade. Wyatt was a nice man, happy to provide any info you need about the area, and always working around the campground. We attempted to make an inquiry about a reservation via the website, but ended up calling ahead of time. He assured me he'd have a spot with full hookups for our 30' Airstream. However upon arrival, tried to say he never would have said that because he only has "one spot" left. He led us to that spot, which was perfectly fine for our stay. But throughout our stay there was always one empty site next to us that met the same specifications. Also, his rate seems to be negotiable. He required we pay $5 extra per night, assuming it was from the holiday weekend, than what's posted on his website. Our Verizon cell coverage was ok, but wifi was very slow at night. We did not use the bathhouse. There is a train track immediately off the campground, which is extremely loud when a train comes by. We only noted a couple per day, all during day time hours. There is also a large creek on property. Not sure we would stay there again, mainly due to how close the campsites were, and there are other options in the area.
