Great little campground if you don't mind tight grass sites. We are so close to our neighbors that our awning reaches over our neighbor's camper. If I need anything from the back of our camper I would have to walk on the campers mat of the camper behind us. Wifi is good. No cable. They do have full hook up and 30 and 50 amps. They have restrooms but no shower house. There is a covered picnic area with a fireplace and rocking chairs with a beautiful view of the mountains. There is also a nice short trail to the river where you can fish or swim. The biggest issue we had was TIGHT sites on GRASS. Plus every Wednesday morning you will have to move all vehicles except campers so they can cut the grass. Closest town is about 30 mins away. A lot of children here. The kids were able to ride bikes on the campground road without worrying about speeding vehicles plus there is a small play ground. Tight twisty road leading to the campground, Call and ask for directions to the campground before you get close. Do not follow GPS unless you have a smaller rig.

Big rig friendly. WiFi is very fast. We got cell service on Verizon and att. Our visible hotspot did only ok but the campsite has really awesome WiFi. Was able to still work remotely. Camp hosts very nice. Very helpful. Sites are just open field grass but our site was pretty level. On the weekends the place fills up. Throughout the week it’s very quiet. There is a pavilion with picnic tables and rocking chairs to take in the view of the foothill mountains. Great views from the campsites in front however you won’t have any shade. If you are closer to pavilion or about half way you will get some shade evenings. There is a path to walk down to the creek and a place to get in to get wet although it’s so freezing cold. A few small waterfalls at that access also. We saw someone catch a rainbow trout here. If you stop make sure to find the larger waterfalls to drive through about 4 miles down the street to hike/ walk. All sites 50 amp now. Open until November yearly. Also an airstream destination.

  • Very nice campground.

Very quiet, comfortable, good water pressure, 50 amp service and sewer connections. Grounds are immaculate. Access to the river is down a beautiful wooded path on the property. Very nice club house and porch with lots of rocking chairs. They have a lot of spaces there. Not much shade, but the view is spectacular. Very easy in and out for a large coach. Lots of help getting parked. WiFi is good with a very stable connection. Super friendly hosts. Pay close attention to your road approach to this park. We have made it in from all directions, but the safest is from the roads leading in from the East. The south and west roadways are narrow and winding with overhanging branches.

It is arranged in 6 rows of side by side sites and can accommodate most RV's, from big rigs to Bambis. There are 148 full hook ups, 90 of which include 50 amp service. Dry camping is allowed only when all the numbered sites are full. The main loop drive is paved. This is a membership park open to the public that is operated, maintained and run by unpaid volunteers. Volunteer workers camp free while working. The sites are mostly level, all grass but little shade. It is open from March 1 each year to November 15. There is WiFi but no cable.Individual reservations are not needed, but groups must call for and submit a written reservation form for approval since the park provides, at no extra charge, full kitchen and dining hall facilities and a large picnic shelter with a large fireplace which must be reserved for group use. There is also an adjoining lounge for relaxing, games and reading. Access to the South Saluda River is available, via a short hike, for sunning, fishing or swimming at your own risk.
