Great bathhouse and laundry in one common area by the office...But it is quite the walk from the rv spots to the bathhouse. Not a problem for self contained travel rigs. We did use the showers and they were good. We really enjoyed this RV Park as it was far enough away from bustling Bend and close enough to the main highway with a few stores and restaurants (which we took advantage of). We went to a huge pumpkin patch/with harvest festival type of activities at Smith Rock Ranch. Definitely a highlight of my stay here in October. Beautiful views and overlooks of the Crooked River Gorge and a few short hiking trails (Matt's Trail) right out of the campground. Great for dog walking. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Our stay was in the Fall season and it can get blazing hot in the summer and extremely cold in the winter. Fall was perfect.

Good Verizon cell service which is a must for us as we work remotely. GREAT view just a few minutes walk from our campsite. Not a bad drive to Bend (40 minutes) or Redmond (20 mins) and we enjoyed the breweries in both cities. We golfed on the course right next to the park. 2 washers and 2 dryers, pretty clean. We had a pull thru site and they were very spacious, grass for the dog, good shade, plenty of space for our RV and truck with additional parking for tow vehicles if needed, a good size picnic table. Gravel site. Pretty level side to side, I don't think we needed levelers. We would recommend and we would come back!

Four loops in the park with a tent only area also and $39 for FHU is not a bad deal. Some trees in the RV park but for the most part no shade. We called in the morning for a reservation that night. Got to the RV park at 4:15 and the office closed at 4:00. No reservation card for us on the board outside of the office and no method to grab a spot in the 1/2 full park. A few minutes later the RV park manager showed up and got us into a spot and apologized for the delay. She stated the lady running the office that day forgot to post our reservation card. The trash cans and recycle bins in all 4 loops were overflowing. The groundskeeper though was keeping the grass green, weeds absent and generally good appearance beyond the overflowing trash cans.

Our site was spacious and had an incredible view of the canyon and the golf course. There are walking trails surrounding the property that are a must. Follow Matt’s Trail along the edge of the canyon for stellar views of the dramatic landscapes. Lots of great activities in this area. Staff, especially Cara, are wonderful and fellow guests polite and quiet. Excellent stay and highly recommend.

Bathrooms are very clean but need updating bad. They don’t go with the cleanliness of the rest of the park. There are no resident RV/trailers. No satellite. The view of the Crooked River is awesome. It is below us in yet another canyon. There are hiking trails everywhere

No bathrooms and laundry access due to COVID. We were not told this when we registered. The guys in the site next to us urinated outside all weekend. Our sewer connection was uphill and they ask you to keep your black and grey tanks open during your stay which is a no no for black tank...pyramiding anyone. The place generally had a negative vibe with lots of No’s and negative signs all over the park. The free wi-fi was non-existent even with a booster. However there was cell service with both ATT and Verizon.
Views are gorgeous but sites are very close to each other and most are gravel.

The RV Park is nestled in the Crooked River Canyon-beautiful. The sites can be dusty since most are gravel but the loops have a common grassy area. They charge for showers $1.25/10 minutes. The bathrooms are closed from 12-2pm so plan accordingly. Dogs must be kept on leash at all times-there isn’t a dog area.

But what really stood out for us were the excellent trails around the park. The park is situated on the top of a canyon that plunges down to the "Crooked River" that gives the park its name. Take an easy jaunt on the well-maintained path that runs along the top of the canyon and check out the beautiful views. For more ambitious hikers there is also a path that zigzags all the way down to the river.
Backs up to a great canyon!

However, it is a small and local driven area so could see where things could get edgy. The RV Park is actually on Hays Rd. Here's the good, the bad, the ugly...Sites are on top of each other, way too close. Very dusty but that's the area. Cute little town site within walking distance has pool, cafe, saloon, local events. There was a 4th of July parade while we were there. Very locally cute. The canyon the campground backs up to affords some hiking, albeit possibly risky for some less prepared people since there is no information provided. However the sunsets are nice from the camp viewpoint. The laundry room is very nice.Bathrooms clean and have showers Very close to Smith Rock SP and Terrebonne.
