If you want beautiful views and peace long lake is your place on one side of the campground is a lake on the other is buffalo and horses very quite and a splash pad next to a play ground for the kids also having bike and kayak rentals long lake is very nice the back in spots are hard to get in with a bigger rig if you have a big rig I’d suggest getting pull through also there is tight turn in the park but it is doable while camping you can take there drive through they have to see the buffalo and other animals right from campground

Long Lake Resort is on the north side of Long Lake on the east side of US-59. It is well marked by signage. The park is accessible but the entry roads are narrow in places with one 90 degree turn with a drop-off into a ditch if you miss-judge the turn. I stay here in a 45 ft coach towing a jeep and have no problems getting in, but it is close. Take the turn wide onto the gravel drive at the turn. Some of the back-in sites are not easily accessible with a rig larger that 40 ft. due to the length of the site and surrounding trees. Each site has 50-amp electric, sewer, and water. The back-in sites share water. The sites are mostly asphalt and are level. Some of the longer pull-throughs are gravel. There is a splash pad for the kids, kayak rental, bike rental, fishing (catch and release, I think), and horse back rides. They also have buffalo in a near by pasture. There are also cabins for rent.
