It needs serious attention starting with the road coming in through a trashy area and traveling through the park; ruts, holes, old speed bumps. A little gravel would go a long way. Very few 50 amp sites and those were filled with long term rentals on top of one another. Took us 4 sites before we could find one we could get into and be reasonably level. We had what appeared to be two abandon units next to us and several others throughout the park. Old buildings and trash all around. It’s a huge area and next time (only because we have family here) we’ll forgo sewer and 50 amp and camp in the grassy field with water and 30 amp. We did not use any facilities such as restrooms or showers.Owners were very willing to let us try different sites. Easy access off the highway.

This was a very spacious campground and was super convenient for our visit with family in Syracuse. The owners were very friendly and we will probably stay again on our next family visit.
Campground owner was very unaccomodating

She would not even hear of it and was rather unkind about being asked. It seemed like a no brainer to me. Get paid more still many sites to rent. Electricity was a problem on one site. Had to call several times to fix the electric. I would never stay here again. The joy of camping is getting to know people in a new place. It was not a joy here.
Friendly camper and Staff, park needs some maintenance

The weather was sub par for our visit. The only full hook-up sites are back in. Site 21 has an old deck that is seriously dilapidated and an injury waiting to happen. We didn’t have any trouble with the sewer or electrical connection; however the water pipe was damaged and leaking. The ground was soft and soggy around it and We avoided it for safety reasons. The site beside us was empty so we hooked up water there. Due to rain, the grounds were muddy and there were large areas of water causing making it the perfect mosquito breeding ground.I’m sure our experience would have been better had the weather cooperate as it did appear to be a nice wooded campground with areas to explore. An okay place to stay in a pinch if you avoid site 21.
