We called ahead to make reservations, we had a full service site, electric, water, sewer and cable TV. The interior roads are gravel and can be very tight in the turns!! We saw two trailers hit trees when trying to make a turn. I tested the electric and it was steady. The cable TV was very fuzzy but we rarely watch TV but since there was storms in the area we tried to get local weather. The bathrooms in our area were in good shape!! Of all the campgrounds I've stayed at that offered wifi...this place has the best hands down! The reason for the two stars!! The pool area was nice and the playground was nice. The manger lady was very good, but some of the seasonal people after drinking too many decided to yell and scream at anyone going by their site...no talking to a swearing drunk!! And that was not the worse part! As soon as we got there, the mosquitos were on us and I don't mean a few, you literally had to douse yourself in the strongest bug dope you could fine, and it was like that all 4 days we were there. The seasonal folks had electric bug foggers they used every night. We had trouble setting up our rig because the site was so unlevel. From wheel to wheel is was over 6 inches...from nose to tail...over 14 inches. The site was a bowl so after it rained...we had standing water throughout the site. Our neighbors were so close that our fire pit had to be right on the edge of the road. The showers could really be updated....plus there is very little ventilation so as soon as you wash the bug dope off...yep you had to apply it again right after a shower. They recently expanded the campground and those sites are even closer together than the older sites. We made the most of it but made note not to return.
