I might be biased bc I was born and raised in the area and we loved the ability to stay near family but have our own home to go back to every night. We really enjoyed our stay here. We are empty nesters and we’re there July 2 -18, 2021 - so we were there over 4th of July weekend! There is soooo much to do here for everyone. Tons of stuff for kids. Very family oriented. Kids were everywhere. We love full time on our RV and we found the friendliest people at this campground. Great location never tons of things to do on the North Fork. We definitely had one of the bigger spots thanks to a tree, but the other sites were decent enough size. There were still some things closed due to Covid restrictions. No store and all check ins happened through a window. Big rig friendly. Roads were a little tight getting in and out because there were so many people there but everyone was happy to move if needed. You can’t book until Jan 1 for that year. They book up very fast. I’ll be calling Jan 1 again this year. We can’t wait to go back.

Spent a little more then 2 weeks here to spend time with family. Campground has new owners so updates are taking place. There are a lot of permanent spots that are weekend getaways. All of them are nicely laid out. Overall a good experience and would come back again.

There are a lot of trees surrounding the property but not a lot of shade. A great place to take the dogs. Pancake breakfast was good for a campground. The internet was not good, but that is typical these days. You will need a car if you are driving a big rig and want to do any shopping. Its near to the ferry at Orient Point if you are headed to Connecticut and points west and north. The Ferry can handle my rig, at 33 feet.I saw a lot of kids having fun.
