The park itself was full of campers, most of which looked semi-permanent, and it was extremely quiet. We pulled around to our site, backed it and hooked up. We took advantage of the indoor(ish) pool, and the excellent bathroom/shower facilities. Extremely clean and well taken care of. Would absolutely stay here again!

  • Great base camp to explore the lake and surrounding area.

Contactless registration during Covid. Typical gravel RV lot but at least some greenery between lots (which are close together). Slow Internet. Better have rock solid plans: cancellation policy is stiff— 7 days if you want refund and $25 plus taxes for anything else.

Note the upper level are the better sites of this park.It was pretty windy almost every afternoon

But it was getting REALLY cold at night so we decided to hook up to the pole - it was cheaper than purchasing propane every couple days. The RV park is very nice. The laundry room is big and has a lot of machines (and they're clean). The showers are in the same building and they are clean also. This place is very well taken care of. There's a pool, a hot tub and a fitness center. Our neighbors were the best part of the RV park. We LOVE them! Everyone there was very friendly and so nice. This park has a lot of RZRs and 4x4's which is one of the reasons we picked this park. We have a RZR so it was perfect for us. There are trails that start from the park. Sites are level and decently spaced. However, a lot of the spots say "pull-through" -it's more like parallel parking. We had one of those sites. So if you're a little rusty at parking, perhaps check your site before you take your rig down. Cell signal was GREAT for both AT&T and Verizon :)The only con we have about this park is about their booking system. We booked from November to February but were told we had to move halfway through. We were fine with that... BUT here's the part that thoroughly ticked us off.. our spot became available after we booked it so instead of calling us to see if we wanted to stay in the same spot the entire time... they called one of our neighbors and asked him if he wanted our spot....THEN! When it came time to move to our new spot... they booked that one to someone else also!!! The only spot left was a premium spot (for a couple hundred more than what we were paying) and they wouldn't work with us on the price... even though they messed up. And this happened over and over again with several people. It was ridiculous! and their only answer was "I'm sorry, there's just nothing we can do."So, overall the stay was good. The place is clean, easy to get to and the other RVers are fantastic. But, be careful booking a stay longer than a week.. they may give up your spot to someone else or just forget to book you at all!! - I'm sorry, there's just nothing they can do about it.

They have an onsite private dog wash, an indoor heated pool, hot tub, games like corn hole, bocci ball, pickleball etc. The bathrooms are single, private rooms with showers. Everything was super clean and new. The roads are newly paved and easy to navigate. The sites themselves are crushed gravel and level. They offer a cable box for stays over 3 days. I chose to go with the OTA channels which were fine. Cell reception was good. Verizon 7d/l, ATT 19 d/l and the campground wifi was 12 d/l. I didn't try T mobile. The staff was incredibly nice and efficient. They had my paperwork ready when I checked in and the total check in time was only 5 minutes but yet they still gave me plenty of information about the area and didn't seem rushed. Across the road is Elephant Butte Lake State park with water activities and hiking. There's also plenty of shopping nearby with groceries, Walmart and other stores. It's an easy location off the hwy but no road noise. Good walking spaces for dogs and 2 dog parks (small and large).Overall one of the best ran private parks we've experienced. The only thing making it 4 stars vs 5 is the area itself isn't all that exciting to spend time in.

Very close to the lake if you're a boater I'm sure this fill up in the summer. The facilities were really well maintained. We stayed in the upper area, there is also a lower area. The people in the office were all very nice, then also have a small section of RV supplies and gifts, Coffee too. The laundry was spotless and everything worked. what we needed most was the professional grade dog was station, (kudo's). a nice treat for Jake and Maci who had way to much Desert Dust on them!. The sites from what could see we're all very level, there are narrow sites and "double wide" sites which was nice to have the extra space to park our truck. you'll be close to Family Dollar and Fuel. There is a Wally World and other in T or C, but I don't get that town, so run down, (and a few scary RV Parks ) but a ton of potential if they get it together. We stayed in and around Elephant Butte! Overall this an excellent location to stay in

After a few nights in some off the freeway RV parks, this was just what we needed. The office was closed when we arrived but they post a list of open sites and phone numbers of two onsite security people if you need further assistance. The sites are spacious. They have some very big pull thru sites. There is an upper and lower area. The lower is more secluded. We choose a site near the office as we needed to leave the trailer for a few days to go to Albuquerque for a wedding, the staff kept an eye on it and made sure the furnace ran as the nights were below freezing. The shower, laundry and grill area (two big gas grills) were very nice with newer well maintained equipment. There is an indoor pool and a workout area that was a little sparse. Overall this is a very well maintained facility with very friendly people. This resort is right across from the Elephant Butte State Park which is a great park with some spectacular campsites with very nice views. We choose the RV Resort so we could leave the trailer but liked it so much we stayed a few extra days and just walked over to the State Park. The Elephant Ivory Tavern across the street has excellent Green Chilli Stew and pretty good margaritas.
