Steve the owner checked us in and he was an extremely nice guy. Awesome views from any direction. There is free Wi-Fi, honor system laundry with 3 washers and 3 dryers that all work great. The bathroom with showers are very clean and well maintained. Eagle Nest State Park is right down the road and a short lovely walk. From Angel Nest we took day trips to Cimarron where we visited the St. James historical hotel and had lunch. We also went to the Boy Scout Ranch, Philmont where my husband went as a young man. We drove to Red River for hiking and great food. Angel Fire is just 10 miles down the road and has a nice grocery store that has wine, beer and spirits. Angel Fire also has a great bike trail that we took our bikes out on one day and stopped at the Enchanted Circle brewery afterwards.Red River and Taos are an easy drive too. I could go on but you get the idea; this campground is all about location, location, location!!!
Absolutely the best RV park in the area.
