Park was clean and very peaceful. Was greeted very warmly when I arrived, which is very nice when you have been on the road all day. Sites were level. I would come back again and again.
I’d rather Boondocking

Too many long termed, too close to the highway sites were really close together! It was fine for a one stop and go if hook ups is a priority but I personally would rather be away from everyone and have a quiet nights sleep.

The RV Park has many shade trees, full hookups, is close to town and only 60 miles from Great Basin National Park. The showers and laundry areas are clean and well kept. The only problem we encountered were the dogs that attacked and bit my wife while doing our laundry. The dogs were uncontained, aggressive and drew blood on my wife’s leg. We talked to the owner about the incident and he was very apologetic and went on to say that he knew they were mean dogs!!!! The owner of the dogs was also very apologetic and offered first aid supplies and assured the dogs had their veterinary shots up to date. She said she NEVER had problems with her dogs biting anyone (????). I told her she had a problem dog that was a liability not only to her but especially to the park owner. We did not seek urgent care as the wounds were minor and didn’t want to deal with the COVID19 stuff. The owner of the park said he took care of the problem…..In the last four years we have traveled the 15 western states, been out dry camping in Grizzly and cat country and thought we were prepared for anything but if you stay here just beware of the dogs that live to the left of the shower/bathroom/laundry/office building. You may want to pack your bear spray.

The vast majority of spots are taken by long term occupants, so there aren't a lot of overnighter spots available. It's dirt and gravel with lots of trees. The spot we were in was level. Our 38 foot coach and toad barely fit in a pull through. No WiFi and data on Verizon was spotty. It's right on the highway, but night time traffic was sparse and we didn't notice any road noise. There isn't a dedicated pet area, but there is wide strip next to the road for exercising the dog. Overall, it's a good place for an overnight stop.
