Close to the highway. Kind of noisy. Works for an overnight. Parking lot is not clean. Folks need to clean up after their dogs! Yes, right in the sites. Not pleasant. The price is good and the only reason for the overnight stop.
Convenient access but NO amenities.

The RV Park is literally steps from the highway. If you are a light sleeper, it could pose a problem. Just beyond the highway are train tracks and trains run all day and night. They blow their horns a lot because there are so many road crossings. They offer discounts on weekly or months stays, but those prices aren't on the website ($20 nightly, $120 week or $450 for month). I stayed a month so the rate came out to less than $15. I've paid similar monthly rates before but got much more value. The RV Park has full hookups but nothing else. No bathhouse. No laundry. Not even potable water. So be sure to bring water for cooking and drinking. There is also not an office. You pay at a little stand and call if you have questions or need anything. Basically, someone took the area on the side of their house and created an RV Park. That said, it is a great easy stop if you are traveling down Highway 81. And it's only about 5 miles from town so easy to run to town for supplies. My stay was a month and they were the only place that offered monthly stays in the area. But most people came in at night and left the next day. Or, they had temporary work in the area and were staying on a monthly basis. It's definitely not a destination campground.
