They explained that when this park was built (over 50 years ago!) things were done differently. Seems our site is often used as a shortcut to bring rigs to their sites. What had we gotten ourselves into? Turned out to be one of their best sites (B5) in a gorgeous park. It was wonderfully peaceful (especially since it was a weekend) but anyplace that has a water balloon machine is probably crazy during the summer. There’s lots here for kids to do! I was also told that weekends when the local college has games, alumni love it here. The sewer dump was elevated, requiring an elaborate piece of sewer hose engineering to overcome some basic physics. Internet bandwidth is limited but it was more than adequate for emails, etc. We had a wonderful experience here but I’m sure glad we visited during a calmer time & got one of their best sites!

We visit Lincoln quite often to see our family and stay here every trip. The staff is very helpful and professional. The park is centrally located and well kept. Awesome shady sites. I would recommend this park to anyone visiting the Lincoln area

The staff was friendly, aside from the few times I asked for any amount of quarters other than a full roll, it seemed like they were inconvenienced, having to go all the way to the back room to make change. That issue probably can be easily solved by putting a quarter machine in the laundry room. Would definitely stay again!

In our case, we simply needed a convenient base from which to explore Lincoln, and this fit the bill. It also has lots of trees, although it is a bit crowded. They have a pool and a sauna. I can’t speak to cleanliness because I didn’t use public facilities. Some might find it noisy since it is adjacent to the highway. We were fine with it.

On the plus side, the sites are reasonably level (gravel), there are nice shade trees, the WiFi worked fairly well, and we had full hookup. Three major negatives: continuous road noise from the Interstate, sites are packed together, and the cost is extreme We’ve stayed at nicer parks, with level concrete pads, much quieter, with the same amenities for much less cost. $50 a night for a gravel patch is a bit stiff IMO. Just passing through to the West, so it was a one-nighter. Doubt if we’ll be back.

A great campground in Lincoln city limits. In my opinion the best one near Lincoln or Omaha! Very well maintained and friendly staff. Plenty of things for the kids to do, nice big dog park, nice laundry facility, no complaints here! Also easy to access for big rigs. We will be back!

Only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer. Wonderful huge dog park. Lots of activities for busy kids. Large sites and friendly staff. Only negative is that they are close to freeway so a bit noisy but so many other positives overcomes

I did not check out the laundry room but they have one there. Restrooms and showers appeared clean and neat. Full hookups with cable TV. Trees located throughout campground. Sites are crushed white rock & include picnic table & fire pit. Really a nice spot. Very friendly & helpful staff who met me at check in and escorted me to my site. My favorite part of this park is the overall cleanliness. I not only would stay here again, I have made reservations for several dates this fall to return here.
