At the height of the summer season there are limited options on Hwy 2 heading in or out of Glacier. This spot was bare bones & certainly nobody is getting rich running it, but the people were friendly, the hookups all worked, there was some shade & it was just slightly off the highway & far enough from the train tracks to be relatively quiet. (Note that it is on a gravel road) It was fine for an overnight stay.

Pulled in after many hours on the road. Had called ahead and the gentleman on the phone was very pleasant and gave us his last pull thru site with 50 amp. We get there and are greeted by a couple of kids that knew we were coming but that was it. A teenager came, he was very nice and I told him the spot number. He led us there. Place was run down, lots of full-timers which is ok but place was messy. Dogs also were running loose. Asked about this and said it was ok. Not for us. One was s very large German Shepard. My husband was attacked as a child by one of these and to this day is not comfortable around them. The spot was ok, but overhead tree posed a slight problem so we left. May be ok for a night if you do not mind dogs, it was on a side road just off 2, and quiet.
