Stopped for one night middle of a trip to visit family. No one was at the office when we arrived and they had not given us a site number, we had paid by cc, so we took a site behind the office, as the young lady had said when we made the reservation. Concrete pads, leveling was easy. Good utilities. Easy on and off the interstate.

This is a good place for an overnight stop or you have business in S Jackson. Full hookups, didn't notice any noise.

Nice park til after 9pm. Heard train whistle ALL NIGHT, didn’t sleep a wink! Would not recommend unless you have hearing aids you can take out at night!

We had trials and tribulations all day on the drive so we pulled in after 10 pm. We drove on a small road through hills, so thought it was very far out of the way, but then found it was right off a major highway... we will fault WAZE for that! We were happy to find there was no gate and we found a pull-through spot easily, hooked up ...moreWe had trials and tribulations all day on the drive so we pulled in after 10 pm. We drove on a small road through hills, so thought it was very far out of the way, but then found it was right off a major highway... we will fault WAZE for that! We were happy to find there was no gate and we found a pull-through spot easily, hooked up in a blink and were asleep within 20 minutes after pulling in! In the morning, walking the dog was a pleasant surprise... there a couple small lakes, residents that all politely said “good morning” when walking by. Restrooms at the bath house were on, but not great. The office closed at 5 and is also closed on Saturday and Sundays. We called ahead and they took our card, but said they would charge it the morning after departure. Since we came in LATE and left on a day they were closed, I wonder if we will get charged. And swinging bridge? We were not unhooking our call to go find it, so we missed the main attraction!
