We needed a quick overnight spot after a day on the Trace. We hoped for a spot at Jeff Busby CG but it was full. The gracious hostes at Stinkin Jim's Horse Camp met us and directed us to a spot next to the main pavilion. Nothing fancy which is our style but she put us in with water and 30A electric. We enjoyed the sounds spring peepers, our first this year, sitting by our firepit and stared at the stars! She said the place fills up on weekends with riders and lots of horses to enjoy the many trails of Tombigsbee National Forest. I haven't ridden in over 50 years but I'd love to give it a shot. I'm sure it'd be great!

We needed a quick overnigh camp spot after a day on the Trace. We hoped for a spot at Jeff Busby CG but it was full. The gracious hostess at Stinkin Jim's Horse Camp met us and directed us to the easiest setup spot next to the main pavilion. Expect horse related stuff around as its the nature of a horse camp. Riders come to ride and enjoy the onsite and NF trails. Both bathrooms and showers were cean and well kept. I haven't ridden in over 50 years but I'd love to give it a shot. I'm sure it'd be great!
