This park’s website warned of ongoing construction with plans to expand its 50 amp service. The result is a treeless expanse of dirt. The loop we’re in is littered with trash, broken picnic tables and fire rings places haphazardly. Showers, WCs and laundry are all 5-star clean. Our welcome here was very warm. The staff gave good recommendations of restaurants in town. Staff warned us that WiFi in our loop was very weak and apologized for it. If we come back to this area we’ll reserve way in advance for state park camping.
nice campground, all dirt roads and expansion happening?

The owner was extremely friendly and helpful and the park was easy to get to and close to the highway, which is not super busy so it isn't too loud. There are areas surrounding the park where the trees are being cleared - not sure if they are expanding or what, but there was some noise from the equipment. The sites are ok size, but the post for my neighbor's water and electric was closer to my rig than theirs. The biggest negative for me was the dirt roads - whenever any was driving it would kick up the dirt and there was always some wind. Bathhouse was nice and laundry facility was ok, although a couple loads I had to run through dryer twice. The biggest surprise was the wifi - I was able to get double digit speeds (down and up)! That was during the week, didn't test on weekend, but I worked off of that (via my PEPLINK) rather than my cell because it was more stable (ATT had good speed but kept getting dropped and TMobile was only a MB or 2 upload). The town is just a few miles away with plenty of restaurants and typical stores (WalMart, HD, etc.). Bemidji lake and state park is beautiful and has great fishing, and there are tons of lakes in the area. If you're looking for craft beer, Norther Liquor had a small but good selection.
Nice park close to Bemidji Lake

Park is close to I29 and to Lake Bemidji where we paddle boarded and Kayaked at Diamond Point Park. Some facilities at the park are closed due to Covid-19 but that is understandable. Cell service on T-Mobile varied between 1 and 2 bars which was sufficient for us.

Electricity is separate & charges were minimal (est $1 a day)Bemidji is a great little down. Especially around the Lake. We enjoyed biking the area. The RV park is close to Main Street where there are restaurants, shopping. Wi-Fi works :-). We work from the rig & were able to successfully use ATT & Verizon. Verizon cell service worked great.
Overall, nice place to stay.

My site (#2) was 30 amp only, but water and sewer connections were fine. There is 50 amp service available in the back-in spots. Only 5 pull-through spots in this park. Sites are a little close, but not bad. Lots of trees, and my satellite reception was poor. There is cable TV, but you have to get a cable box from the office for a fee. Information sheet says that it won’t work for all campers. Our satellite reception was good enough that we didn’t bother with it. We went site-seeing most of the day anyway. Park is quiet, but there is some highway noise and it didn’t bother us at night. Pets are allowed. Check-out is at noon.
