Check in was easy with a very friendly couple running the shop and a cart guide to lead us to the spot. Check in had to be by 8 pm or call ahead. Our pull through site was very level gravel. Oddly, power and water were on the “wrong” side. Power had an open neutral but worked fine. The sites are close together but there is tree cover. Each site has a fire pit and a picnic table. There is a nice pool and a somewhat dated kids play area. AT&T has good 5G reception. There are a huge number of channels available by antenna. Wifi didn’t work but who expects camp wifi to work? Great access to the Twin Cities while not feeling urban.

If you need to work or make future reservations, cell reception here is not great. WiFi is terrible, I can barely get a web page to load so had to use my hotspot. AT&T weak 2 bars. This campground is good for a quick stop. Regular KOA stuff - playground, pool, showers and camp store with limited hours.

The 30 and 50 amp electric was odd. They were staggered every other one with 30 on one side and 50 on the other and the 50 was locked up,

Contactless checkin to be safe, spacious sites, and trees. One loop was entirely empty so had a good route to walk dog. We were happy.

Stayed here for our first trip of the season for our shake down trip. This is a nice clean KOA and what you would expect from a KOA. I could see road noise being an issue if you had one of the sites that directly backed up to the highway, but we didn’t notice it at all.

This was an overnight for us on our way to Colorado. My first stay at a KOA. I thought it was very nice. Quiet spot. Had water and electric. Staff very friendly and helpful. You are guided to your spot. Area very clean. You have to wind in from I35 but easier access from I94. Close to Minneapolis
Not bad for a KOA.

Some of the sites are weird to get into because they put the trailers next to each other on the utility side (w/e sites) so your door will open into more space. It just meant that out back window was facing the road. It did feel like we had plenty of space though!Pool wasn't heated, so it was a bit chilly but the kids got in anyway. They had fun on the playground with friends, I got laundry done so it was a win.Kind of far from downtown Minneapolis, but check out Elm Creek Preserve for their mountain biking and nature center.
