Great quiet campground, friendly host, fantastic location. This place is directly on the water, close to St. Ignace and yet it feels remote and quiet. Easy access even for our 37ft Motorhome, some sites have electric hookup, most are dry sites. We would definitely recommend this place.
Simple great place to sleep

Very quiet, with lake access. A few sites have power. I stayed in a basic tent site. Pit toilets and well water available. Liked it enough will probably stay there on my way home.

The playground isn’t amazing but it’s just enough. The beach area is clean and the water was warm. We enjoyed the one shade tree on the beach and stayed there for several hours! The owner is nice and we love the family owned feel of the campground. While the sites are on the smaller side we still had plenty of room and I thought it was cool that every site had its own charm and unique qualities. We love this campground and can’t wait to stay again. We had one super noisy group while we stayed but otherwise it was peaceful so I think our rating of of noise might be skewed because of them!

Like others, the planned campground did not work out but luckily for us we found this one. It is a very welcoming place. Nice people, clean grounds and outhouses. Will only stay there from now on. 15 minutes north of St. Ignace and was within an hour in any direction of many sites to visit. Thank you for a very nice vacation stay.....

We only found it because our planned, first-come, first-serve spot was closed for the weekend, and everywhere else was booked up. We couldn't have been luckier, though. Our site was right along the water, and it wasn't more than 10 ft between our RV and Lake Huron. I don't remember the site number, but it will be pretty obvious when you are there. Just ask the owners; they are super friendly. Even if you can't get a site on the water, a lot of others still have a good view, and there is a nice little sandy beach along the edge. Sites along the tree-line have good shade, if you'd prefer that. You'll have a great view of the sunrise, and the sky is super dark at night. We didn't use the toilets, so I can't comment on their condition. We tried the water, but the taste wasn't great. I'd recommend filling up before you arrive, if possible. The grounds were clean, and firewood was available if you asked (we didn't, so not sure on the cost). It was very quiet and peaceful most of the time there. In the afternoon, they did mow the lawn. That's probably a good time to run your generator, if necessary. The spot is about 15 min from St. Ignace, so you'll have easy access to Mackinac Island, if you're in the area for that. I also highly recommend visiting Headlands Dark Sky Park while you're in the area. It's south of the bridge, but only about a 30 min drive.
Very primative and very peaceful !!!

Stayed here over the Labor Day weekend. The managers that live on site are great people and do a good job. There is no amenities from home here. Just good old mother nature. Just good old mother nature. No electricity, water or sewer at your site but water can be pumped into your own bucket and taken back to your site. They furnish old school outhouses which are very well kept up. The view is beautiful. You are only feet away from the great lakes. The only recommendation i have is to make some sort of shower stalls. Besides that this place is perfect. I will be staying there again.
