We will definitely come back to Northpointe Shores. Small and tidy, this place really had everything we need, including a beautiful firepit area near the lake. Others complain about the rules...we didn't find ourselves hampered by them. And we appreciate that the park is clean, well-kept, and quiet.Cell service and wifi were just okay here.

I will start off by saying that I stayed at this campground for three months and had originally planned to return in the fall. The grounds are perfectly maintained, the restroom and showers are the nicest I have ever seen, the view of Anchor Bay is beautiful, and the fishing is pretty good. The unfortunate part comes when looking at the rules. At the beginning of the season there were four pages of rules. However, management has since added to those rules and it is now up to five pages. Some additional rules that have been added include:•Maximum of two registered guests per RV site (this means no families)•Maximum of four visitors (and all visitors must be registered with office)•The following dog breeds (but not limited to this list) are no longer allowed:Pit Bull Terriers, Staffordshire Terriers, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Presa Canarios, Chow Chows, Doberman Pinschers, Akitas, Wolf-hybrids, Mastiffs, Cane Corsos, Great Danes, Alaskan Malamutes, and Siberian Huskies.•No skateboards or hoverboards•No drones•No hanging towels out to dry (even on the side of a trailer)•Wood must be purchased locally “it’s the law” (this is FALSE, although encouraged by the State of Michigan, it is not the law)In addition to the rules, management at this park, although maybe not intentional, often came across very harsh. In my opinion, they could greatly benefit from additional training on how to interact with guests.Rates have also SIGNIFICANTLY increased.During my stay, the monthly rate for site 25 was $930 for April/October and $1,230 for May-November (plus electric). This rate was already significantly higher than any parks in the area. For 2021, the rates have increased by $400-$600 PER MONTH! With Lakefront sites coming in just under $2,000 per month (plus electric)!I made a lot of friends with other guests while I was here, but I will not return unless they fix the issue with management and get their rates closer to the area average.
