Awesome weekend camping with the family, we booked another trip here in August with a group and are excited to come back. The park is under new management and looks like they are working on making it the place to camp in St Ignace!

Overall campground is clean and fairly well maintained. Campsite itself was very small and muddy. We stayed 4 days and the first two were great! There was nobody on either side of us so it was very quiet and relaxing! Then the family from hell parked next to us. Four kids and no idea how to control them. The next two days were loud and the opposite of relaxing! That is more about bad parents then the actual campground. I would stay again and hope for better neighbors! The site had some TV reception and weak cell service.

We kayaked right off the beach in front of our site we had a nice view. As we looked back at the campsite you could see Castle Rock in the background. They had clean restrooms and a nice laundry room. We did have people park in front of our site along the beach blocking our view so we told the guy in the office he made them move. If you want to block your own view that's ok, but be respectful they had 2 trucks & motorcycles. They had dogs and were using our site that was next to them prior to us arriving. There were lots of games set up & dog poop everywhere I stepped in it. They had a lot of family camping with them, very noisy. There is a fish market there in St. Ignace we got some smoked whitefish spread that was some of the best ever. We went out to Mackinac Island it was so crowded worse than P town or Key West you couldn't walk down the street or walk in a fudge shop they were so crowded. Mackinac Island is pretty I would rent a bike to get around.I would stay there again it was a nice site.
