Quiet, clean, great view. This is a small place that is worth it. Close Acadia short 10 minute bike ride to the schoodic side. 45 minutes from Mt. Desert side. Owners are nice helpful people. Worth staying here. Sites are close together but didn't seem to be a issue at all.
Great spot in the quiet side of Acadia

It's not on the main peninsula of Acadia & Bar Harbor, so you gave to work a bit to get over there (there's a ferry about a 4 minute walk from the RV spot)...BUT it's a roughly 2 minute drive to Schoodic, which is every bit as awesome as the main park, and so much less crowded. We loved it. SO, based on that we were super happy with our spot at Mainstay. We walked into Winter Harbor several times, which is a quaint little town, a few nice shops, some great restaurants, and a nice grocery. Pearl & Roger are great hosts, and super nice to chat with and provide a great atmosphere. There's a little library, washing machine, and other stuff in a little centrally located building, everything you need a more to go along with full hook-ups. There are only 10 spots so it's nice & quiet, but we met some very nice families during our stay. The sites overlook Winter Harbor, which is peaceful and provides some great sunsets (as does Schoodic). The nicest site tables & chairs I've seen at an RV site are provided (not just a wooden picnic table). Wifi was a little spotty, and was better at certain time than others. Pearl chatted with us about how they are looking to improve that, which would be great as cell service (at least for our AT&T) was sketchy at best. Will stay here every time we come visit Maine - even if we're not in an RV because the cabins looked nice too! Great spot, total gem, one of the best places we stayed on our trip.
Had a nice time with friends by the ocean

We had a great time here. The site was good but it is a bit cramped. They only have 10 sites for RVs. We stayed for a few days with friends. One day we took the ferry in to Bar Harbor and that is a must do. You board the ferry right next to the camp site and it was only $28 roundtrip. The ride was about 50 minutes and we saw seals and dolphins on the way over and back. The owners are very nice people and made us feel quite welcome.
Small campground with full hook ups. Pretty water views.
