Apparently I'm not getting over it anytime soon, so I might as well write my review. We stayed in site 24 from January 7 to January 14, 2022. The owner Laura Scott could not have been friendlier when I made the reservation back in November. We spent a few days sightseeing - driving to Natchitoches, Vicksburg, visiting museums, and more. One day as we were getting ready to leave on another sightseeing adventure, my husband looks out the window and wonders out loud what this guy is doing. It looks like he's setting fire along the fence line. My husband rushes outside to see what's up. The owner Kenny Scott tells him that this is how they get rid of leaves. He's got a flame thrower thing and he's catching the leaves on fire! This wouldn't be a big deal except that it was windy that day. It all got away from Kenny. Would he admit this? Never! It wouldn't be a big deal even then MAYBE, except for the fact that there are people who have RVs that stay full-time along that fence. Some of those RVs haven't moved in awhile, and the owner is nowhere around to know just how close those flames were to their rigs. Some of those full-time RVs have people who have gone to work for the day and have no idea their rig was in danger. I cannot believe an RV park owner would be so foolish and lazy to get rid of leaves in this way. Why would you risk hundreds of thousands of dollars of property and people's homes this way?! My husband jumped out there with a hose and started helping put out the FLAMES. Then, the fire department showed up. We are full-timers. We LIVE in our camper full-time year round. I'm livid that my home was this close to danger - a man-made danger. There are so many flaws in Kenny's thinking that I cannot even wrap my brain around the absurdity of all of it. We will never stay there again. Stay at your own risk.
Great for a night.

Normally if just a quick stop for the night we would Waldock or Cracker Barrel. Due to below freezing overnight weather we wanted hookups. Called and left message. Lady who called me back couldn't of been nicer. Once site was arranged she texted all pertinent info to me. Park is older but good for a night. Strong wifi too.
Nice park for an overnight stay!

This was a nice easy access park to I 20. Had good amenities and utilities including WiFi. The weather was rough and rainy so you didn’t notice traffic sounds. Not that it was bad by any means. We will be looking for opening when on 20 in the future for sure.

This Rv Park has some good things going for it. When I checked in, I peeked into the game room/tv room. I just peeked it, so I noticed some video games and a large tv. The room was very spacious. Site 22 was nearly level, which surprised me, since I was pulling up a hill to get to it. The site is gravel with a concrete pad on the side and has full hook ups. There was no picnic table, grill or fire pit. No worries since I was basically just sleeping there. Restrooms were closed, no worries, I have my own. The plus for this site was it was on the end, so I had a green space on the side where my hook-ups were. The very best part of my experience with this RV Park, was the lady I spoke with about the reservation. She was friendly and texted me all I needed to know about the contactless check-in process. She also made sure to give me detailed instructions how to get there, since some GPS have trouble finding the address. I gave them four stars because of her excellent customer service.

Passing through on our journey east. Made appointment online and communication via text was on point! Park is quiet and convenient.

The site wasn't level and the 30 amp electrical plug was cracked. The electrical box also repeatedly shorted out even though we were only running one A/C and watching TV. Thank goodness we have a 50 amp adapter so we switched to that plug instead. Staff members Laurie and Eli were kind and accommodating. Make sure to ask for directions as GPS will not bring you to the correct location! Campground office is currently unstaffed due to Covid-19 but there are clear instructions regarding how to pay upon arrival. There were two strange black wires sticking up in the middle of our site. I called Laurie to ask if the wires could be cut as they weren't serving any functional purpose. She said that someone would come the next day but it never happened. The 2nd bathhouse men's restroom also didn't have any hot water in the showers. Laurie said that she would have someone come look at it, but the water was still cold the next day. Disappointing to say the least. We did enjoy the blazing fast wifi though! My AT&T phone had two bars but I didn't try the hotspot. We were able to program 20+ over the air TV channels.
Very convenient off I20

We decided to stop in Monroe and called after hours, the owners Kenny and Laurie were so accommodating and said come on. We were in a large pull-through so we didn't even have to disconnect. The site had full hookups (50amp) and a concrete small patio, the pull-through was packed gravel. We have a 40-foot 5th wheel and fit perfectly. They do have WiFi and our tv antenna picked up 35 stations and we didn't even have the antenna extended. Clean, very strict with the covid 19 guidelines which was good. Yes we could hear the train but not a problem. We will return especially when traveling east ... oh ... there was major construction on 20 and the exit and Laurie texted me directions to come in the back way ????

We stayed in spot 25.We heard the train during the night and the freeway is pretty close so you can hear traffic, but it didn't keep us awake. We arrived just a few minutes after closing but the lady at the front desk was very friendly and still took our payment. There is an after-hours map of available spots though if you do arrive late.Half the park has permanent (or long-term) residents. The other half has available spots. During our stay most people came around the same time as us and were gone in the morning by 9am. We stayed a bit longer because checkout was noon and we went into Monroe to see a few things.
Better when it's dry?

It rained during our stay and maybe that influenced my impressions too much. Our site was a muddy walk that was too far from the bath house. I think there was an attempt to keep the bath house clean, but it was so old (several layers of paint apparently worn through the floor in the shower) that that became the predominant image. I think there was an attempt to keep the bath house clean, but it was so old (several layers of paint apparently worn through the floor in the shower) that that became the predominant image. (I'm so sorry we weren't dewinterized.) I'm sure this cg makes a better impression when the weather cooperates.
