First for the positive. The views are lovely. Our site was water front and very spacious. But that’s where the good news ends. The campground is so poorly managed. Trash on the sites. The bathhouse has no AC, no paper towels, or air dryer for hands. Wooden stalls for showers. Very very bad condition. But worst of all is the sites we are on are apparently a common pass-through to the beach. This is NOT public space, but that hasn’t stopped anyone from walking right through our sites, in front of our camper, to cut across. So incredibly disrespectful. If this area was a public access we would not have booked the site. It is not marked that way anywhere. “Management” was unconcerned with the issue. Even after a few folks decided to take a seat on a log right outside our front door. Our family booked sites 8, 7, 7a, 6. I would not recommend any of those in the future. The only “benefit” is the close proximity to the bathhouse since very few sites here are full hookups. Finally, the site itself was very hard to get into. Fortunately, we have a small trailer (Tab 400) and tow with a ZL1 Silverado, so making our own path wasn’t much of an issue. Would have loved to know that ahead of time.
