Owners are were super friendly and accommodating! We needed a night's stay in late March traveling to Texas. Campground is a beautiful setting. Bathrooms, showers were not open at this time so I can't say how clean they were, etc. Half the sites were de-winterized. Again, early in the camping season. Only issues we had and only reason we would not stay here again were trains all throughout the night and planes flying over. So noise was a problem for us. There's a local airport a 1/2 mile away. Otherwise super quiet. Pull through and back in sites with full hook ups. Lot's a places to walk dogs.
A nice campground but customer service questionable

This is nice looking, and seemingly popular, campground. There is a lake/pond with a small beach, an inflatable jumping pad, playground, and roads safe enough for kids to ride bikes. One evening, they had a band that played a variety of different music that was entertaining. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit. There are mature trees that are pretty, and in our site, did not interfere with our satellite. Water is treated, and it is very soft. Electric iffy – if we ran all 3 A/Cs eventually the breaker would trip. We haven't had any problem before or after running all 3. The sites are a mixed bag – long, short, level or not, concrete, or gravel and grass. Roads are narrow for maneuvering into certain sites, and there are many speed bumps. Verizon is all over the place anywhere from 1X to 3g to 4g with 1 bar. The WII FI never worked, ever. There are trains! They have rules, which are appreciated, but they are over the top. Let's just say that you better keep the pass they issue in the rear view mirror or the gestapo will find you. No matter that said pass may have been torn and was lying in the front dash until we had time to tape it. The biggest gripe was our site. It was in a low area and had a wooden deck on the passenger side. We could only open the bay doors about 1/3 of the way before hitting the deck. You had to sit down to get to any of the doors. We arrived on a Friday and asked immediately to be moved. The site they offered was very unlevel - the motorhome in the site had both front tires off the ground so we declined. On Monday when it cleared out, we tried again. Asked for a new site and said we didn't mind moving more than once. Even if we ended up back in the original site. No can do they said. But, they could do! We were there for 12 days and watched which sites were empty, and there was more than one for several days in a row. We don't get it.
