This was a good place to stop and stay along the stretch as there are not many options. The site was very level, and it was a path through which was a bonus. Don’t expect to get one and a little man-made lake, they are permanent residence there. Everybody is in a row and there is not much space, but the area is well-kept. Be prepared to hear a lot of highway noise as you’re just off the highway. But in the summer with an air conditioner and we didn’t inside. You can connect on their Internet for less than a minute before getting kicked off But AT&T 4G is all bars.

We stayed early November at Caboose Lake for a single overnight while in transit. There is limited options on this stretch of I65 and Caboose Lake was a safe campground, open year-round and run by very friendly people. The campground itself is average but all hookups worked well and it served its purpose while in transit. There was definitely noise from the highway when outside of the trailer, but with the windows closed and the heater on it wasn’t very noticeable.
