Sites are thoughtfully spaced up a hillside so almost everybody has a bit of a view. But for me an RV park has to have at least a dump site and laundry in order to get five stars... As the previous reviewer noted, there is a dump site about a mile away at the fairground. But what makes this place almost five star is a shower room stocked with fresh towels everyday, shampoos and individual soaps. That is a treat if you're used to having to haul all of your stuff up to the shower! And the gorgeous views across the rolling hills to the snow capped peaks in the distance, plus the couple who run it are extremely nice and accommodating. 2 mi round trip walk into town.

  • Great little family owned park!

Nightly rate based on a 8 night stay = weekly rate of $150Best deal in the area, even though there is no sewer connection at the sites. Water and electric are all new, as is the entire park. There is a free dump station at the fairgrounds, just a few blocks away.Nice and quiet!

Due to the circumstances, owners Alice and Jeff, friendly, caring, salt-of-the-earth people, agreed to $400 a month reduced rate. The nearby town of Cottonwood had a whopping 900 residents and a good store. It seemed like the perfect spot to stay put awhile, and I wasn't disappointed. I have now been here nearly two months; long enough to gain first-hand knowledge of the loving attention paid to the park: new signage, mowing, site-leveling, new trees planted, picked rocks from soil around sites, new picnic tables, cleaned firepits, sprayed for weeds, solar lights installed, etc. The WiFi is very good. I teach online and had good reception most of the time; a bit spotty during high winds. While my rig was in Lewiston having solar installed, I stayed in the clean, comfy, well-stocked guesthouse for a week. Great bed, nice half bath and the welcome book was extremely thorough: maps, excellent trails and get-a-ways, and pictures of facades of the restaurants and main interests in town so you'll be sure not to miss them - even a few menus! The adjacent bathhouse is supplied with rolled-up, fluffy towels, soap and shampoo - above and beyond what most RV parks offer. Hand sanitizer was supplied in the office, bathhouse, and guesthouse. Everything was kept exceptionally clean. The office has a small reception area with ice cream, pop, beer, ice, various hot beverages and water - even a rack of greeting cards. The surrounding views are spectacular: snowy mountains in the far distance and a patchwork quilt of greens and yellows spread before your eyes. Ask Alice and Jeff to give you their favorite picks for a Sunday drive; you won't be disappointed. Some of the most gorgeous country I've seen: deep, rocky gorges with mighty rivers coursing through them, sharp switchbacks alongside evergreens and plunging depths (Hwy 164 Nez Perce to Kamiah), the cool nearby Monastery, lovely hikes along the dormant railroad grade. Lovely sunrises that wake and refresh and brilliant sunsets as you sit around your campfire (firewood available) and marvel at the canopy of stars. I will be returning. You couldn't ask for nicer folks or more beautiful views.
