We came for the Great American Eclipse. This park was north of the path of totality, but the price was worth the drive south to see the big event. The park owners are very nice, and super helpful. If you have any questions, they will help you. On the property, which is private, the full RV Hookup sites, of which there are about 8 face directly onto the Salmon River. You hear the sound of the river from inside your RV. There are a few great fishing spots right on the property. They have a launch for boats and the owner will shuttle you in your car with your kayak/boat to an upstream location and then you take out at the park. They also have a small hot spring, which is clean and very hot, but a so so location. There is also a hike up to some caves. Most of the RV sites are on grass, and there's some tent camping or dry camping sites too. A wonderful place, all of the folks who came through seemed super nice and we made some great friends, too. Bathrooms and cabins looked clean, but we did not use them. Down sides: noise from Hwy. 93 is present (but most parks in this area have the same issue), the park is not located near any other attractions, so you have to have a drive vehicle (toad) if you have a motor home. If not there is plenty to do here for a few days if you just want to hang out. Food/services are available in Challis to the south, but it is about 20 miles away. We would definitely come here again.
