City of Rocks RV met both of those needs. The campground was arranged pretty uniquely. The sites are setup as long pull throughs, but each pull through has two sites. That is, if the other site is empty, you have one pull through, but if it isn't, you will have someone right behind/in front of you. That is, one site ends up a back in and the other a back out. Weird. Anyway, the sites are plenty long, but not very level front to back. I needed blocks under the rear wheels. The campground is clean and there are new trees planted, so it will get better as they mature. I got an opportunity to talk to the owner. He was talking about getting gravel to level the sites. Our site was level side to side, but had a 10" drop from front to back. I carry lots of blocks so that wasn't a big problem for me, but be aware that the sites aren't very level front to back. The power was stable and caused no problems. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here.

We’d just conquer the first swarm just to have the next half dozen enter! The campsites are not cared for or leveled after campers exit, and we found it very difficult to level our B+ van. We had to climb a stack of 4 ‘lego’ blocks for the right front tire, and 5 for the left front tire. 2 stars because we were thankful for the W/E hookups. Bottomline, I would not recommend this campground.

The layout of this CG is a little weird with 24 pull-through sites, but half of the sites pull into the back of another site. So while I’m not sure how that would work if they were full, they weren’t when we visited. Sites are relatively long, and while the gravel is only about wide enough for the wheels, there is plenty of room to put slides out. Most of the sites will require some leveling blocks, but overall our site was easy to get in and out of. Privacy and spacing was fine during our stay, but we also didn’t have any neighbors, so your experience may vary. We enjoyed a really peaceful stay and had no use for our sound machine. The park is still new, so there is some desert grass between sites, and they are working on adding some trees for shade and privacy. It also looks like they are building a small fenced in dog area, but for now, there was room enough to walk our dog around the park. Our W/E worked fine during our stay, and while there are outhouses we didn’t use them. There is no WiFi available at the park, and while we are normally fine using our Verizon, we had almost no service without the booster and an inconsistent 3G service with (winds made it hard to keep our booster up all the time). Also it’s a little weird that we didn’t notice it initially, but over the course of our stay it became obvious that the water had a distinct smell despite our standard RV water filter. We aren’t generally picky and usually use camp/’city’ water for everything, but we ultimately bought drinking water for the remainder of our stay. The CG is conveniently located to City of Rocks, Castle Rocks, and the small town of Almo and there is a dump station down the road near the state park. Their nightly rate is $35, but if you stay 7 nights, they discount it to only paying for 6. I used their easy online booking website, and while the park is un-staffed, there is a self check-in/pay kiosk.

Solid RV park style place to set-up for exploring City of Rocks or Castle Rocks. Power, water, table at each site. Not much shade. Outhouses on site. Great cell service.

This place just opened April 2020 so Google Maps doesn’t even show something is here. Easy access to city of rocks. Large pull-thru sites. Water electric. No dump in campground but there is a dump station not too far from there.Verizon didn’t work here but AT&T was OK
