We found this campground cluttered. Neighbors intruded on our campsite with games and lawn chairs, but worst of all cigarette smoke. The roar of the lions at the nearby outdoor zoo was surprising and somewhat entertaining. We became accustomed to the sounds but our dog didn't.The Zoo was worth visiting. No WiFi or cable.

Super close to the drive-through Safari which you can see in about 90 mins from the comfort of your car (Perfect for social distancing). Additional attractions were closed due to COVID19 restrictions. It was an OK stay, and would do it again if visiting relatives in the area. Watch-out if you go out for dinner as gate closes at 10 PM and you will need an electronic key to go back in ($20 deposit to get one, which gets refunded when you return it).

We were somewhat in a bind so we didn’t have a choice to find a less expensive option. This is your typical KOA where everything is so-so. The surface of our spot was grass and our neighbor had a 5th wheel, his truck, and a boat all parked on his site. It was a bit of a circus. Some of the rigs are run down and some haven’t moved for years. There is a lion safari park next to the KOA and you can hear the lions roar at night and in the morning. That was a pretty cool experience for the family. We didn’t go to the safari park but heard mixed reviews when we were there. Also, it was one of the few KOAs that is gated with codes to access after hours.

It's a couple of miles from the highway so there is very little traffic noise. Sites are well maintained, staff and residents are friendly (many seasonal from Canada and parts north). It's big so there is space to walk and there is a large dog park. The laundry is big enough and reliable. There is a pool. Groceries are not too far away but the beach is. Verizon is 4G and plenty fast for work, the wifi is actually not bad at least in the non peak hours. For unique you get to hear the lions roar from next door.
Small sites in convenient location.

The grounds are very clean but the sites are tiny. You need a guide to get into them. Most of our fellow campers were seasonal visitors from Quebec who spend every winter here. You get full hookups and wifi but no cable. The price per night is very high even with a KOA discount. There is a small store on the site but it is not well stocked. There is a pool, laundry, showers, rec hall, etc like other KOAs.
