Our site looked out on a canal in the Estero Bay Area. We saw dolphins every day and a manatee once. If you can stay within the park you can forget about the craziness and traffic in this area. Staff very responsive and park well maintained. Pool somewhat small but still refreshing. There’s a club of some kind nearby so we heard the music, mostly reverberating drums, sometimes until two in the morning.

The sites are somewhat tight but comfortable with a concrete pad. During the week it was very quiet with hardly anyone in the park. I would have the pool all to myself. During the weekend the park would get busier but still not crowded. There are two shower/bath houses that were maintained on a regular basis but could use some pest control. Laundry facilities were great. 2.00 for washer and 1.75 for dryer which are operated with debit/credit card. The park has many boat slips and a boat ramp and sits in the inter coastal way. Saw dolphins swimming around the park. Great area to kayak around the mangroves. The beach is less than a mile and a 1/2 away and the area, both campground and local, are very dog friendly. If you want to let your dogs run on the beach, there is a dog beach on lovers key which is fairly close. The biggest draws backs would probably be the traffic noise and the noise from the bar nearby. Overall was very happy with my stay. The staff are great!

We usually stay in state or county parks in Florida and were looking forward to an RV "resort" experience. Instead, what we found was a cramped RV park.Fortunately, we had a "prime" site with a partial water view out the back of our rig, otherwise we would have been miserable. The inside "choice" sites are awful and we would have given 2 stars overall if we had been in one of those sites. The "prime" sites that aren't directly on the water are not worth the extra money and to me, aren't any different than the "choice" sites. I would recommend "select," "superior," or "ultimate" if it's in your budget. There are a couple outdoor laundry facilities that take credit cards for payment. The one we used was clean. (3 washers, 4 dryers). The people working in the office are friendly. There were many seasonal campers here and they seemed to be quite happy.Verizon - DOWNLOAD: 9.44Mb/s, UPLOAD: 10.00Mb/sAT&T - DOWNLOAD: 11.24Mb/s, UPLOAD: 15.08Mb/s

Would stay here again, but not so close to the water that attract the NO-See-Um gnats
