They emailed us and was very polite and informative. Due to high winds and snow, we were unable to make it to the campground the next day and we emailed the campground to let them know. They were very understanding and even gave us a website to follow Colorado weather and road conditions. If we are ever in this area again, we will defiantly camp here, due to campground hosts that truly care about their campers.

They worked with us to get us a beautiful spot. We were there for our nephew’s graduation. We spent two weeks there and could stay another month. Nancy and Matt worked so hard to make us feel at home. They live on site and it shows. Updated facilities and lovely landscaping. With trails and horses!Nancy warned us about the water’s high iron content. So we brought our own drinking water. Beautiful views. Saw antelope almost every day. Saw Pikes Peak a lot. Mountains everywhere and Pueblo has everything you need. Also, they held a cook out for their guests on the Memorial Day weekend. Such wonderful people. We’ll be back next year!

Location allows you to go anywhere in Colorado with a day! We went to Estes, Del Norte, Denver, Fort Garland, and Boulder after we explored local Colorado Springs! So much to do with a really nice relaxing place to come home to after a day of play. We recommend this park and will be back.

I had called earlier in a panic as I had made a mistake on my other reservation and had no place to stay on a Saturday night. We were greeted with information about the campground, wifi passwords, etc. The laundry room was spotless and reasonably priced. The site was large enough for our 30 ft 5th wheel and had a nice picnic table and full hookup. We would come back again as this is centrally located between Canon City and West Pueblo. The grounds are in a very open range with the mountains off in the distance. We loved the down-home atmosphere here with the playground, pool, family horse stable and chickens.

Stopped one night on my way to Wyoming. Very clean, not fancy. They have a large pool and huge dog park. Resident horse was friendly. Site was level, clean. When you pull in check your distance from sewer. Had to back up as my hose was a bit short. Very friendly folks. Strong WiFi. Was able to download a few movies for the road

Big, wide and level pull-thru sites, full hook-ups, great cell signal (Verizon and AT&T), some of the best rates in the area and the owner's are awesome. Helpful, friendly, easy-going, you name it. They worked hard to get us into a spot even though they were full for part of our stay and managed to do it. And when we extended our stay a week (we got lucky and scheduled all of our routine doctor stuff within about a week), they worked hard again to find us a site despite a big group coming in the last weekend. It's obvious they work hard to maintain and improve the place and care about their customers. The pool is nice, though a bit cold, the bathhouse is big and clean but the laundry consists of only one washer and dryer. But since the park is on well water and it's very hard, it's probably best to go to town to do laundry anyway. The water quality is really the only downside to this park. But they are very up front about it. Just bring your filter and some bottled water to drink. There is some highway noise but it generally calms down at night.Overall, we've enjoyed our stay very much. One of the best values in the area. We'd definitely stay again.

Our spot was a little off-level (fixable) and a pull-through (all are). The owner is friendly and more than helpful, and the campground is easy to access and see the surrounding area from. For us there were probably only 2 small negatives (4.5 stars)... 1. The water isn't drinkable, and it's helpful that they are up front about that (we came prepared). That said, we showered with it, washed laundry on board, and washed dishes with it.... it's fine for those purposes. 2. The lay out of electric, sewer, and water may be tricky for some - electric was far back and sewer was toward the front (water was in the middle). So, our electric cord was full out, and we had to use both sewer hoses and the 4" extender. We would definitely stay here again, and while we didn't make use of them, there is a pool, laundry, and bath house. T-Mobile worked fine, so did their Wifi.Update: We returned to this park for a second stay and camped in one of the over-sized sites. We had the same great experience- the bigger sites are huge (easy in/out with utilities located very conveniently in a very level site), we saw the bathrooms (which are very nice and well kept), and this trip we needed repair help, which the owner helped direct us to a great tech that showed up quickly. Obviously, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this park and have.

Knowing that we came in with a full tank and didn't hook up the hose. Very convenient to Royal Gorge Bridge, Pueblo and Colorado Springs. Cell and OTA TV signals both very good. We would stay there again if in the area. The two horses, Misty and Diamond out our front window were also a plus.

We chose Haggards because it was closest to the things we had planned and there is a severe lack of selection in the area. Considering we have a large rig and took up two sites for our vehicles 37 per night wasn't bad. Easy access from the main hwy. The park is clean and very well maintained. The owners are friendly and helpful. The water does suck, but they are upfront about it. We just used bottled for drinking, our factory installed water filter was good enough for everything else. We had full hookups but I did use the small laundry room to wash some heavier stuff. Worked great. There was a pool and it was clean but it was already really cold so didn't try it. There is some road noise but the wind drowned most of it out. The sites are fairly level but use blocks in the front.

water is horrible... Full of minerals ...a rusty soupy color. Our walmart filter couldnt help it for long. Otherwise we had no complaints. It was close to family, clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. We spent very little time ar the park...

The laundry is small and old, but is clean. All of the facilities are well cared for. It would be great for an over night. It's just off 50 and there's very little traffic noise. Sites are dirt and are level. The down side to the park is the water. They are on a well. They're very up front about the fact that you should not drink the water. They're not kidding. It also spots like crazy. There are bugs, as well. We had moths coming in via the slides, and there are biting flies. It's an agricultural area so there are bugs.I know this sounds like a negative review, but it's not. Haggards is a reasonable choice in an area that is underserved for RV parks.See the attached blog post for pictures of the park.
