I mean zero! Oh, and if you’re there too long they expect you to mow the grass (Umm what?), or they charge you $50 to kindly mow it for you. The first thing I noticed when I pulled in was the tent city across a small creek, literally 100 yds away. Luckily we didn’t have any issues in that regard, but still unnerving when traveling with a 3 yr old. I honestly do not know how this place is still open. Prices are horrendous, $70 night, $450 week, $1800 month. Nothing for the kids to do except have scavenger hunts for used needles or strike up a conversation with one of the park drunks. If this is a last resort, as it was ours. The water, electric and Seward works (at most sites). Try it before you setup. If I had to do it again, I’d parked on BLM land before contributing $$ to the Denver meadows park.

There is a section of abandoned houses and trailers right outside the gate that government has taken over and boarded up.There is a homeless small tent camp right across the street.Very loud, right between the highway, train, and hospital with ambulances (which might be helpful if one of the crackheads stab you) Got set up and had to move because the water didn’t work, front desk said they forgot. And my favorite, there is a crack/meth pipe laying right outside the laundry room, for days, that nobody has moved.

  • Too expensive for what you get

Run down and old with lots of abandoned trailers. Sandwiched between a highway, high tension power lines and a subway track. Broken glass on the main road by the office and people fighting outside in the middle of the night were some of the other perks. Way overpriced. On the plus side it was easy to get in and out of.

  • WAY too expensive for what it is!

The other local campgrounds had no availability, and there really is not much to choose from. This place is very old looking It is a large parking lot, gravel lots (some paved), paved roads. Very tight spots, some trees. The electric went out multiples times during my stay here. Staff said fault of electric company. I think their systems could not handle to load of so many air conditioners running. We had multiple days over 100 degree weather. Was scared to death to leave my cat inside while at work (bought a temperature monitoring systems that would alert me if temp went over set level). Had some not so nice words with grounds keeper but sounds like he was getting shafted by owners also, so I let it slide. A lot of full timers here. Bath house is old looking but appeared to be kept clean. I never used the showers but a full timer told me that they turn off the hot water in the summer. Bathrooms, showers and laundry rooms are not air conditioned. Good size laundry room. Washers $3 a load. Dryers .25 for 4 or 5 minutes/depending on what machine you used. Do allow packages to be shipped to office. There are no other amenities here. Staff were friendly, especially Veronica. They do reservations over phone, but do not take any payments at time of reservations. I was nervous that I would arrive and not have a spot but I had no problems with that. Park is convenient if in area to explore Denver. Paid $600 every 2 weeks. Told prices do go down in winter time but unsure of amount.

  • Not as advertised.... Noisy & Dirty Parking lot.

Kind of run down and old. Bathrooms are pretty bad but the showers are ok. If you’re coming to Denver during summer it maybe the only campground with availability.
